  • Overview

    Civitas is seeking a graphic designer to support the current Creative team. Candidates are capable of managing their own time to complete design tasks that include production and original design concepts. This role is responsible for working with creative leadership in creating marketing materials for the agency, collateral to support creative efforts of current client work and speculative work for new business efforts. This position reports to the Chief Creative Officer. Ideal candidates demonstrate professionalism and strategic thinking in all areas of practice.

    Qualifications

     

    • Proficiency in graphic design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch, etc.)
    • Education in graphic design or comparable coursework
    • Demonstrates competence in mockup creation and image manipulation
    • Demonstrates confidence in adapting and building brand assets and collateral, including templates, corporate identity, brand standards, and sales and marketing materials, among other assets as assigned
    • Great communication and problem-solving skills
    • Demonstrates ownership of creative work
    • Proactive, team-oriented work style
    • Organized and familiar with a creative landscape
    • Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
    • Exceeds expectations on project deliverables
    • Agency experience preferred

    Responsibilities

     

    • Development of experiential concepts
    • Creating design layouts for client projects and Civitas marketing materials
    • Working closely with creative leadership team to create best-in-class brand experiences
    • Collaborates well and takes direction from other creatives on concepting and execution needs across various media facets
    • Executes compelling creative that solves client problems and works holistically within campaigns
    • Takes direction from more senior creatives
    • Multitasks and manages time effectively
    • Works well under pressure to manage workloads effectively
    • Communicates ideas in brainstorming sessions and with teammates on creative, strategy, and account service
    • Helps solve problems to ensure design is effective
    • Adapts easily to design within different brand guidelines and relevant styles
    • Edits and proofs finished products for branding and design
