    CIVITAS is seeking a Community Marketing Manager with at least 7 yrs. experience in installing and managing large scale, custom designed, events and productions. This role will lead a team to handle event productions from start to finish. You will be member of the senior team as a primary point of contact, working directly with client executives, sales and marketing teams as well as vendors.

    Qualifications

    • 7-10 years of event management experience
    • Demonstrated ability to lead teams
    • Experience managing budgets and deliverables
    • Excellent verbal, written, project management and communication skills
    • Requires someone who is outgoing, ambitious, personable, and organized.
    • Needs to be able to communicate with high-profile personalities, be innovative and think on their feet.
    • Knowledge of basic event production logistics including power, basic permits
    • Team player with excellent communication skills
    • Position requires domestic travel

    Responsibilities

    • Understand, oversee, update, and manage all events and event initiatives
    • Hire, train, and manage volunteers and individual event staff to work as a team to coordinate and manage events
    • Serve as day to day contact on events, providing status updates and deliverables
    • Relay all client feedback to the internal team
    • Work closely with other departments to foster an understanding of operational workflows
    • Build relationships with clients at the senior level
    • Act as trusted advisor
    • Able to be liaise with partners, agencies, suppliers and vendors
    • Cultivate business, team and personals goals and ensure team understand their role in achieving them
    • Manage the SOW, team structure and overall budget
    • Contract negotiation and supplier sourcing
    • Manage agency integration and proper briefing
    • Collaborate closely with strategy, planning and creative teams
    • Deliver clear briefs and interpreting client needs to ensure our response to briefs is spot on
    • Manage, mentor, and coach
    • Work collaboratively and clearly with content and internal creative team
    • Responsible for overall project budget predictions and management
